What is Essential Rewards?
One of the many things that draws us to Young Living is that they NEVER require anyone to participate in an “autoship” program. However, Young Living DOES offer a monthly ordering program that we may choose to participate in. It can be started, paused and stopped at any time! We like to divide our wish lists into monthly orders that are more economically manageable while earning points for FREE oils on this program.
Here are some FAQ’s to help you learn more:
1. Is it free to sign up? Yes
2. What are the requirements? You must spend 50 PV per month (or the most part, 1pv=$1)
3. Since its autoship, can I change my order every month or do I have to order the same thing? You can change the products in your ER shopping cart each month and you can even change the shipping day as needed.
4. What are the benefits of the ER program?
You will receive 10% PV for every ER order between the 1-6th months of being on the program. Between 6 months and 1 year of being on the program, you will receive 15%!
And after you have been on the program for 1 year, you will receive 20% PV!!! Adds up quickly.
For example: if you are new to ER and you spend $100 in your ER order, you will receive 10PV back which translates to $10 you can use for free product.
5. How do I know how many points I have accumulated? You can either call YL, use their “live chat” feature, or look at the home page of your “Virtual Office” and it is posted there.
6. How can I redeem my ER points?
Again, you can call or use live chat. You get to choose the products you want to redeem your points with.
7. Is there a max as to how many points I can redeem? Yes, you may use up to 350 points at one time and no more than 350 points per month.
8. Any other tips? Yes. You do have to pay for shipping, so I like to accumulate as many points as I can so that I can order one large order and only pay for shipping once as opposed to redeeming several smaller orders and paying for shipping for each order.
9. What if I want to cancel at any point? We encourage you to redeem your points and then cancel your ER program. If you cancel before you redeem your points, you will lose what you have accumulated.

Essential Rewards earns you Points to be redeemed for free product!
• For months 1–6 on ER, you’ll earn back 10% of order Personal Volume (PV)
• For months 7–12 you’ll earn back 15% of order PV
• For months 13+ you’ll earn back 20% of order PV
• For example, place a 100 PV Essential Rewards order while you are in your first six months and earn 10 points to redeem for free products. The more you order, the more points you can redeem for free Young Living products.
